Apple Camp, an annual summer educational program designed for families with young children and held at company outlets, is returning to a full in-person format.

During Apple Camp, the company will hold weekly events from June 20 through August 31. There is also now a new two-hour format for participating families.

Participants will be able to create a digital comic book focused on protecting and celebrating the planet during the “Art Lab: Comic Book Adventure With Your Family” program.

As with previous Apple Camp programs, the 2022 edition will see families use products like the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil to take pictures, add designs and decorate their creations to design their own personalized stories.

“We look forward to campers and their families sparking their imaginations by learning from our team members and others during Apple Camp,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail + People. “This special program has provided a space for connection and learning in our stores around the world for the past 20 years, and we are excited to host these experiences again.”

Apple Camp is designed for families with children ages 8-12. Children will participate alongside family members in indoor and outdoor sessions. Devices will be provided and Apple also offers a downloadable field guide with at-home activities.
