CUET not required for DU certificate courses

Admission DU 2022: The Open Learning Campus (COL) of the University of Delhi has clarified that CUET 2022 will not be a compulsory requirement to join the vocational and technical training programs and short-term certificate courses offered by the university. The department’s clarification comes after receiving inquiries from interested candidates about the applicability of CUET for admission to short courses. To provide full clarity on the matter, Prof. Uma Shankar Pandey (OSD, COL, University of Delhi) said that “Admissions into the certificate programs offered by COL are open to all applicants at the 12th pass, at the exception of students enrolled in various colleges or universities. . And those who have recently completed their studies are also eligible to apply.

Applications open for 24 short courses

The Campus of Open Learning (COL-DU) has also reiterated that currently, admissions are open for 24 certificate courses and interested candidates can apply for the same. These courses are offered by the university in association with industry training partners viz. Bird Academy, MT Forum and RK Educational Group. The list of courses for which the registration process is currently underway is shown below:

  • Medical transcription
  • Data science and machine learning
  • Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity
  • Financial markets
  • E-accounting & office automation
  • Personality development and soft skills

  • Digital Marketing and Social Media Advertising
  • Animations and Motion Graphics
  • Directing, directing and screenplay
  • Photography
  • Mass communication and digital media productions
  • Radio jockey, anchor and television journalism
  • Graphic design and video editing
  • Interior design
  • Actor and modeling
  • fashion drawing
  • Event management and public relations
  • web design
  • 3D animation and video editing
  • Fine Arts & Digital Arts

The application process for the above mentioned course will end on 30 September 2022 with courses commencing from October 2022.
