The Department of Higher Education has extended the deadline for applying for tutoring to July 10. Registration started on June 25.

In a circular sent Thursday to the Directorate of College Education, the Directorate of Technical Education and registrars of reputable universities, the department directed institutions to ensure that female students from public schools enroll in the program. .

The Muvalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar higher education insurance scheme was announced by the state government last month. Female students in first and second year of undergraduate programs in Polytechnic, Arts and Sciences and Engineering programs have been invited to register without delay at https://penkalvi.tngov.in.

Students in the 2022-2023 academic year can enroll after being admitted to classes. Students can call the toll-free number 14417 with any questions. Colleges have been instructed to provide registrant details by 5 p.m. daily.
