Sangsang Univ Indonesia prepares career exploration and skills development programs for young people
Sangsang Univ Indonesia has been holding regular online classes for four weeks from February 14th. A total of 12 courses are organized and around 2,000 young people follow courses according to their own interests. Major programs include Beginner/Intermediate Korean, Writing, Video Editing, and Digital Marketing.
In particular, Sangsang Univ runs a certain percentage of the whole class as a training course to help with youth employment. Courses such as interviewing, resume writing and career development are also included in the lectures open in February, helping young Indonesians improve their professional skills.
Online courses prepared by Sangsang Univ in response to COVID-19 have already been well received by local youth. Last year, 12 online courses took place and 34,000 students participated in this process.
In particular, the online course environment has generated a positive ripple effect to overcome the limitations of local bases. For example, in online courses held last year, the proportion of students outside Jakartawhere Sangsang Univ is located, reached a total of 80%.

KBrean Language School opens the first regular semester…Supporting the improvement of language skills
KT&G Sangsang Univ Korean language school, located in SurabayaAlong with Yamandala Center, also started the first regular semester of Korean language teaching from February 7.
One hundred and sixteen students enrolled in ten classes, confirming the interest of Indonesian youth for Korean. The online course is divided into a beginner and intermediate Korean course and a conversation course and will continue for ten weeks.
Last year, the Korean language school offered Korean language education to young Indonesians based on a real-time online lesson environment optimized for a non-face-to-face environment. Thanks to this, 34 classes were managed last year through the three regular semesters and the special semester, and 376 students learned Korean.
In addition, in October last year, the Korean language school held a Korean culture festival consisting of programs such as a Korean culture experience, a drawing contest and a play at the occasion of Hangeul Day, the anniversary of the creation of the Korean alphabet.
