“All Aboard the Ag Wagon” is a new educational program at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum.
The program is from 10 a.m. to noon every Saturday in the museum theater. With a different theme each week, a variety of activities are planned for children ages 6 to 12. Adults are welcome to attend or participate as well.
There are monthly and weekly themes that will run through 2022. The January theme is Birds, with upcoming programs slated for January 15, 22, and 29. Winter on the farm is the theme of February, with programs on February 5, 12, 19 and 26; and Agriculture is in the spotlight in March, with programs on March 5, 12, 19 and 26.
Each participant will receive a passport booklet and stickers for the booklet will be distributed every Saturday. The activities are linked to the theme of each week.
Regular admission to the museum is required to participate in the program – $ 5 for adults, $ 4 for seniors, and $ 3 for children ages 4-17.
The program is made possible through the support of the Friends of the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum.
The museum is located at 4100 Dripping Springs Road.
