Top 10 Graduates of Diman Regional Technical School in 2022

FALL RIVER – The following students graduated from Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School at the academic top of the senior class.

1. Nicolas Azadnia

Nicholas Azadnia is the son of Connie and Mike Azadnia of Westport. As a student in the Electronic Technology program, Nicholas has dedicated his educational career to academic and professional success. Nicholas participated in the cooperative education program at Diman, while maintaining rigorous coursework in the specialized and dual-enrollment classes. Additionally, Nicholas is a member of the National Honor Society, Rowing Program, Track and Field Team, and Bristol-Diman-UMass College Access Pathways Program, while maintaining his responsibilities as an Eagle Scout. Nicholas will continue his studies in electrical engineering this fall at Bristol Community College and then at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Bishoy Mikhail

2. Bishoy Mikhail

Bishoy Mikhail is the son of Nevein Nashed and Amgad Mikhail of Fall River. As a student in the Electronic Technology program, Bishoy excelled in both his professional program and his cooperative education internship at Apollo Safety. In addition to his professional achievement, Bishoy has actively engaged in rigorous coursework studies in honors and dual-enrollment classes at Diman. Additionally, Bishoy is a member of the National Honor Society, engages in community service volunteer hours, and is a student of College Access Pathways. Bishoy plans to continue his studies in electrical engineering this fall at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.

Russell McComb

3. Russell McComb

Russell McComb is the son of Rebecca and Daniel McComb of Fall River. As a student in the electronic technology program, Russell excelled in both his cooperative education internship at Walco Electrical and his advanced specialization and placement courses, while maintaining his status in the Boy Scouts. Russell intends to continue his work in the electronics field this fall by retaining his position at Walco Electrical.

Kaden Sampson

4. Kaden Sampson

Kaden Sampson is the son of Lisa and Kenneth Sampson from Swansea. As a student in the Electronic Technology program, Kaden has dedicated his educational career to academic and professional success. While at Diman, Kaden participated in football and athletics, while pursuing rigorous coursework in honors and advanced placement classes. A Chandlers scholarship recipient, Kaden will continue his studies in electrical engineering this fall at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.

Sarai Benitez

5. Sarai Benitez

Sarai Benitez is the daughter of Amanda Moscoso from Fall River. As a student in the Electronic Technology program, Sarai successfully committed to Diman’s cooperative education program, while balancing rigorous honors and an advanced-level course load. Additionally, at Diman, Sarai competed in track and field, cross country, and the National Honor Society. Sarai will continue her studies in electrical engineering this fall at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Charles Magnifico

6. Charles Magnifico

Charles Magnifico is the son of Melissa and Gerard Magnifico of Fall River. As a student in the Graphic Communications program, Charles excelled in both his cooperative education internship at Modern Printing and his honors and advanced placement courses, while participating in fundraising opportunities for the multiple sclerosis. Charles plans to continue his studies in A2B Graphic Communications this fall at Bristol Community College and then the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.

Jennifer Chan

7. Jennifer Chan

Jennifer Chan is the daughter of Mom Ouy from Fall River. Both as a student in the Business Health Assistance Program at Diman Regional and while working at her cooperative education workplace, People, Inc., Jennifer excelled in her business field. In addition to this work, Jennifer has completed rigorous coursework, which includes both specialist and advanced level courses. Additionally, Jennifer is a member of the National Honor Society, an Outstanding Vocational Student and a member of the Key Club. This fall, Jennifer plans to continue her studies at Roger Williams University as a premedicine major.

Logan Sandbichler

8. Logan Sandbichler

Logan Sandbichler is the son of Lindsey and Jonathan Sandbichler from Somerset. As a student in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration program, Logan excelled in both his professional setting and his cooperative education placement at UG Nasons Inc. In addition to his professional success, Logan has actively engaged in rigorous coursework studies with distinction. and Advanced Placement courses and was named Diman Outstanding Vocational Student. Logan plans to continue working in commerce at UG Nasons Inc.

Bryce King is the son of Deanna King and Ellis Ross of Fall River. As a student in the Electronic Technology program, Bryce excelled in both his cooperative education internship at EMC Technology and his honors and advanced placement courses. In addition to these successes, Bryce was an active member of Diman’s basketball team and a member of Diman’s National Honor Society. This fall, Bryce plans to continue his studies at the Florida Institute of Technology.

Jacob Furtado

10. Jacob Furtado

Jacob Furtado is the son of Nicole and Neil Furtado of Fall River. As a student in the electrical program, Jacob dedicated his educational career to academic and professional success. Jacob excelled in his cooperative education placement at Resendes Electrical, while maintaining rigorous coursework in honors classes and achieving Outstanding Professional Student status. Additionally, Jacob is a tri-sport athlete, competing in baseball, basketball, and football, where he served as a team captain. Jacob plans to continue his studies in electrical engineering this fall at the University of Massachusetts.
