Have you adopted open educational resources (OER) * or, in another way, significantly
reduces the cost of course materials or textbooks in that current semester or in a
previous? Or do you know a colleague who has?
If so, consider nominating yourself or a colleague (s) for a $ 1,000 consortium library.
Affordable course material prices. We intend to present at least 10 awards in 2022.
For collaborative projects, each contributing member is eligible to receive up to
$ 1000. The objective of the prize is twofold. First, we would like to recognize the faculty
which have made lasting and substantial cost reductions for students. The second

other materials free of charge? Consider taking the UAA’s OER / ZTC certificate program, which provides faculty with the essential information needed to consider the transition
courses away from commercial products to REL or ZTC course materials (zero cost of textbooks).
